The 2026 NRL season has moved into the finals, and the league’s MVP voting has produced a clear hierarchy of clubs and standout performers.
Warriors top the vote table
New Zealand’s Warriors earned the highest total, amassing 1,019 votes. Their leading five are Jackson Ford (121 votes, 18th overall), Erin Clark (100, 25th), Te Maire Martin (93, 31st), Taine Tuaupiki (89, 34th) and Mitch Barnett (75, 53rd).
Even without a player in the top ten, the squad’s consistency lifted the club to the summit of the leaderboard.
Panthers and Dolphins remain strong
Penrith follows with 996 votes. Dylan Edwards captured 215 votes, securing first place league‑wide, while Nathan Cleary was second with 212. Thomas Jenkins (133), Brian To’o (127) and Casey McLean (71) complete the top five.
The Dolphins collected 972 votes. Herbie Farnworth earned 176 votes (sixth overall), Hamiso Tabuai‑Fidow added 103, Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 97, Kodi Nikorima 84 and Selwyn Cobbo 82.
Mid‑table clubs and their leaders
South Sydney’s Rabbitohs posted 869 votes. Keaon Koloamatangi led with 128, followed by Latrell Mitchell (109), Tallis Duncan (91), Cody Walker (91) and Cameron Murray (82).
Cronulla Sharks earned 858 votes. Braydon Trindall (175) and Nicho Hynes (147) topped the list, with William Kennedy (131), KL Iro (70) and Addin Fonua Blake (64) rounding out the five.
Sydney Roosters gathered 851 votes. Naufahu Whyte (202) and James Tedesco (162) were the highest scorers, followed by Mark Nawaqanitawase (98), Sam Walker (85) and Daly Cherry‑Evans (75).
Manly Sea Eagles entered the top eight with 800 votes. Haumole Olakau’atu secured 210 votes (third overall), Tolutau Koula added 112, Tom Trbojevic 79, Clayton Faulalo 77 and Jamal Fogarty 57.
Newcastle Knights posted 797 votes. Kalyn Ponga’s 149 votes placed him tenth league‑wide, with Dominic Young (101), Greg Marzhew (79), Fletcher Sharpe (79) and Dylan Lucas (55) completing the set.
Lower‑ranked clubs and the vote spread
North Queensland Cowboys recorded 731 votes. Scott Drinkwater led with 199, Jason Taumalolo contributed 104, Braidon Burns 76, Tom Dearden 71 and Tom Chester 63.

Melbourne Storm earned 717 votes. Sua Fa’alogo (165), Harry Grant (127), Stefano Utoikamanu (97), Cameron Munster (83) and Jahrome Hughes (66) were the top five.
Canberra Raiders tallied 675 votes. Simi Sasagi (142) headed the list, with Kaeo Weekes (75), Ethan Strange (67), Ethan Sanders (58) and Joseph Tapine (54).
Canterbury Bulldogs accumulated 647 votes. Lachlan Galvin and Connor Tracey each earned 85, Jacob Preston 78, Jacob Kiraz 73 and Stephen Crichton 72.
Wests Tigers logged 533 votes. Adam Doueihi (96) was followed by Terrell May (83), Jahream Bula (61), Jarome Luai (50) and Alex Twal (47).
Brisbane Broncos received 477 votes. Xavier Willison (72), Reece Walsh (68), Payne Haas (60), Kotoni Staggs (57) and Ezra Mam (49) made up the five.
Parramatta Eels posted 470 votes. Isaiah Iongi (69) led, with Ronald Volkman (57), Tallyn Da Silva (44), Brian Kelly (41) and Junior Paulo (37).
Gold Coast Titans earned 459 votes. Keano Kini (114) topped the list, followed by Jayden Campbell (82), Tino Fa’asuamaleaui (77), Phillip Sami (74) and Oliver Pascoe (27).
St George Illawarra Dragons finished with the fewest votes, 386. Toby Couchman (95) was the highest‑scoring player, while Hamish Stewart (49), Valentine Holmes (43), Ryan Couchman (34) and Clint Gutherson (31) completed the lineup.
The voting system applied a 5‑4‑3‑2‑1 scale each match, judged by four individuals: the Zero Tackle founder, two writers and the article’s author.
